Imagine offers developmentally appropriate age based programs for children two months to five years old with an afterschool program at The Lehman College Child Care. Additionally, Imagine also offers a number of interesting and unique programs at the centers.
Our centers are often a child’s first experience in a structured environment away from home, and our teachers may be the first to notice signs of possible developmental delays or special needs. Our Special Development Consultant, Anne Stile, Ed.D. is available to offer guidance to teachers and parents in the areas of classroom adaptation and behavior management. Dr. Stile can also provide resources to staff and parents regarding early intervention and preschool special education services.
Dr. Anne Stile has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 20 years. Anne has a BA in Psychology and Education from Bucknell University, an MA in Special Education from George Washington University and an EdD in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Anne spent 9 years as a classroom teacher before becoming an administrator with Imagine in 2001. She served as an adjunct professor at Lehman College, where she taught graduate courses in Special Education. Anne now consults with all Imagine centers in the area of Early Childhood Special Development.
